Day 1 Arrival in ATHENS, transfer to Hotel, check-in, welcome meeting.

 

Day 2 ATHENS. City tour in Athens. We will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide which includes the Presidential Palace, the Panathinaikos stadium where the first modern Olympic games were held, the national library, the bustling squares of the center; the new neighborhoods that emerged after the 2004 Olympic games. The tour will end at the Acropolis site (entry not included). In the evening we include a transfer to the PLAKA quarter, a place full of small Greek taverns where you can also enjoy this country´s folklore.

Day 3  ATHENS - KAMENA VOURLA - KALABAKA. Meteora Valley with entrance to a Monastery. We set off in the early morning for the North of Greece. A stop at KAMENA VOURLA, a beautiful tourist centre by the sea amidst magnificent countryside. Continuation northbound. We make a brief stop at the gorge where the battle of Thermopylae took place. We will visit KASTRAKI, a picturesque village with beautiful views over the whole valley. Time for lunch before visiting the Valley of the METEORA, an impressive place declared Unesco World Heritage. We will see the whole of the valley and will have the chance to enter one of the most famous monasteries.

Day 4  KALABAKA - EDESSA - Pozar Thermal Baths.

THERMAL AND MINERAL SOURCES which known since ancient times. Herodotus, Hippocrates and Aristotle wrote about the unique local sources with mineral waters. Thermal water is "living water", because it is saturated with minerals, various trace elements, the ratio of which is a feature of each source. It is with their help that the cellular metabolism is accelerated, the resistance of the skin to negative influences increases, the water-lipid balance of the skin is restored, the natural protective properties of the organism are increased.

Day 5 EDESSA - THESSALONIKI  - MELNIK  - SANDANSKY.

Beautiful landscapes of Macedonia. We travel through the North of Greece, amidst pretty mountain scenery, to the Aegean Sea. Arrive in THESSALONICA with time for a stroll and lunch in Greece’s second largest city. After this we continue towards BULGARIA, and the border pass. In Bulgarian Macedonia we stop in MELNIK, a picturesque museum village in beautiful scenery amidst a wine producing area. Arrive in SANDANSKI, at this beautiful small spa city, the birthplace of Spartacus. 

Day 6 SANDANSKY - RILA - SOFIA

Rila monastery. City tour of Sofia. We visit the beautiful Rila Monastery, the heritage of mankind, with its appearance of a fortress surrounded by forests. We continue to SOFIA, where we arrive at the end of the morning. After lunch, we include a tour of the capital of Bulgaria, where we will see the Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Russian Church, the Mosque, its squares and avenues of Stalinist architecture.

Day 7 SOFIA-DEVIN.

Devin have a fantastic climate. The surrounding of Devin offers access to nearby gorges, rock formations, fantastic views, caves, forests, natural reserves with protected and endemic species, and most of all, clean air. Namely Trigrad gorge, the Devil's Throat Cave and Yagodinska cave.

Day 8 DEVIN-SUNNY BEACH. The five-mile strip of golden sand hosts buzzing bars, while summer festivals bring in DJs from across the globe. It’s not all about parties, though. Adrenaline-seekers can scuba, jet ski and parasail their hearts out, while out of town are nature reserves, hot springs and rugged countryside

Day 9 SUNNY BEACH. Set along a blissful stretch of Black Sea coastline, Sunny Beach is known for its clubs, restaurants. Soft sands and calm seas make it a top spot for families. A world away from the neon lights you’ll find ancient relics from the Greeks, the Romans and the Byzantines.

Day 10 NESSEBAR is one of the most ancient towns in Europe, included in the List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Situated on a picturesque island, near the city of Burgas. The town has preserved its original architecture of the Revival period of Bulgarian. Impressive old houses with wooden eves and hanging strings of dried fish and winding narrow cobbled streets. Here can be seen traces of many civilizations that shaped the unique architecture and city atmosphere – Thracian, Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman and Bulgarian.

Day 11 Transfer to the airport BURGAS
